Henk’s career as an artist started when he created the art for the first Role Playing in Japan in 1983. He designed monsters and people for the Black Onyx which became the #1 computer game in Japan in 1984.

He is most noted for his creations for Burning Man which include multiple art installations, art cars, wearable wings, and a number of other costumes.

He created a 10x10x10 mm art piece for the Moon Gallery, a collection of 100 art pieces that will be sent to the Moon.

Henk is also an avid photographer having gone on many photography expeditions around the world.

Besides being known for bringing Tetris to the world, Henk is a serial entrepreneur and spends most of his energy fighting Climate Change.
