NELSON BABILONIA
Born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. Nelson Babilonia came to the United States after studying at the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto. His passion for painting is unparalleled and combines abstract and figurative forms. His dreams inspire his work as he states: “I do not choose what to dream nor choose what to paint ”
With this foundation, it allows him to portray his inner vision. Babilonia has exhibited his art paintings from Colombia, Spain and Florida; where He lives and continue working.
Being an artist allows me to create a visual language to express or interpret through colors, lines and their shapes in a pictorial space with different styles. In my paintings and drawings I am inspired by the word of God, life experiences such as beauty, pain, emotions, conversations and entertainment.
